WETA Program

MRCD has launched the Water Efficiency Technical Assistance Program, funded by the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Running through mid-2026, this program offers free irrigation efficiency analyses for farmers in MRCD's District and in TEAM RCD’s District in South Riverside County.

We will also connect eligible producers with the Natural Resource Conservation Service who has funding for irrigation upgrades and a range of farm improvements. Farmers on wells can also utilize this service, we can provide pump efficiency testing as well.
